Yamaha 642 Maestro Silver Plated Euphonium

Top quality professional level Euphonium, part of Yamaha's Maestro range. Silver plate is often preferred by brass players to the more usual lacquer as it has a distinctive lovely bright crisp tone.

The YEP642S features:

• Monel Valves- hard wearing option which is popular with professional players.
• Hand-lapped valves and slides- ensures an absolutely perfect fit and seal between the valve pistons and casing or slide parts. This improves the response and intonation of the instrument.
• Pressure formed tubing- this gives less turbulence and a smoother air flow, thus allowing for an excellent scale and reduced resistance.
• Compensating system- this ensures accurate tuning on all notes throughout the instrument's range, particularly in the difficult low range.
• Bell taper and leadpipe- designed for greater projection, control and response.
