British born, Denis Wick spent most of his working adult life as a
professional trombonist and conductor, although over the last 30 years
his name has become associated with his line of brass mutes and
mouthpieces. Built to a high standard, these products are used across
the world by players of every calibre.
Plunger
mutes are reasonably specialist and tend to be played by pro brass
players using them for jazz or big band music. However, they are
reasonably priced and so, with a little practice, any standard of
player is able to produce some fantastically strange sounds!
- Hand Held- the sound can be changed by moving the plunger with your
hand--opening it, squeezing it, and closing it across the bell of your trumpet.
- Sound - That famous 'doo-wah' sound from the Glenn Miller band era.
- Made in aluminium with hard PVC edges
