Examining the bell of an Alto SaxophoneWoodwind & Brass Repairs

Sheehans Music Services was founded as a repair service in 1984.  Since that time we have seen an average of 1500 instruments per year through the workshop.  We are proud of the service we offer, and still consider the workshop to be at the heart of our business.

Our Woodwind and Brass repair workshop is staffed full time and our repairer is capable of fixing anything from a Piccolo to a Tuba! For professional level flutes, we are able to call on the services of highly experienced freelance repairer Matthias Ziemann. Matthais has many qualifications, including being one of the UK's few licensed fitters of Straubinger pads (as used in high quality Brannen and Miyazawa flutes).

Every woodwind and brass instrument which arrives at Sheehans is thoroughly checked over by our specialist staff, and any necessary adjustments are made before the instrument is declared fit for sale.  Both new and second hand instruments come with a full guarantee.

If an instrument can't be set up to our high standards, we won't sell it!

We also offer an extensive repair service on customers' instruments.  Small emergency repairs can often be done straight away - for more major work, including services and re-pads, it is usually advisable to contact our woodwind and brass department in advance.
