Violin, Viola & Cello Repairs
Sheehans Music Services was founded as a musical instrument repair service back in 1984, and we still consider the workshops to be at the heart of our business.
Our violin, viola and cello repairs are overseen by highly experienced repairers David Snelling and Anthony Nickolds. Both are highly regarded in their fields, having many years experience of building and repairing instruments.
Every violin, viola or cello to arrive at Sheehans is thoroughly checked over by our specialist staff, and any necessary adjustments are made before the instrument is declared fit for sale. On many of our student instruments, this includes upgrading parts such as the strings and tailpiece, and also re-cutting the bridge and re-shooting the fingerboard where necessary - all included in the price of your instrument!
We are confident in the high quality of the instruments we sell, and all - new and second hand - come with a full guarantee.
We also offer an extensive repair service on customers' instruments. Small emergency repairs, such as replacing a broken string, can often be done while you wait - for more major repairs or servicing it is usually advisable to contact our violin, viola and cello department in advance.
