The first is the reverse headstock design in which each Seagull neck starts out as a single piece of Mahogany or Silver Leaf Maple. The wood is cut at a 45 degree angle, after which the top piece and headstock is glued back on with the grain reversed. This is an essential step in the Seagull process for creating incredibly stable necks. This is even more crucial for 12 string guitars. The second is the straight string tuning headstock design: never has a 12 string been so easy to tune, and more importantly stay in tune!
The S12 sounds incredible, sharing the same tonal qualities of the S6 original. The addition of the 6 extra strings breathes new life into an already wonderful sounding instrument!
You won't want to put it down!
