George Lowden first developed the original series back in 1976, and like the old saying goes - If it ain't broke don't fix it! Little has changed other than the addition of two extra body sizes, the 'S'and the 'F'Here we have the understated yet beautiful Lowden F32.This guitar has a solid grade Sitka Spruce top and solid Rosewood back and sides. These AAA grade timbers are beautifully framed within a figured Sycamore binding. This is all enhanced with purflings of Mahogany, Walnut, Sycamore, and Rosewood. From the first strum one word came to mind - projection! This guitar has bags of it thanks to the stiffness of the Sitka top and the 'F' body size, so would be an ideal choice for flatpicking and fingerstyle playing. The warmth of the Rosewood pulls back the reins of projection to allow the bass to come through which balance things out nicely. This is a great guitar: it's focused, clear, warm, and well balanced, with tons of projection! You won't be disappointed.
