Musical Instrument Insurance

Many years experience in our repair workshops has led us to the firm opinion that your musical instruments and equipment should be insured - preferably by a specialist insurer.

Even if you have a home insurance policy that includes musical instrument cover, there are still many advantages to having an additional policy with a specialist insurer, as they usually offer cover for a much wider range of situations, and often with a lower excess than standard domestic policies.

• Classicplay - for owners of acoustic instruments, such as acoustic guitars, woodwind, brass and strings.
• Powerplay - this is for "group gear" (electric guitars, drums, keyboards etc) and electronic equipment.
