VAT (Value Added Tax)

Sheehans is a UK based company, and the prices displayed on our website include UK VAT (a form of sales tax) at 17.5%*.

Customers from outside the European Union do not have to pay VAT.

After you have added item(s) to your basket, you can go to our checkout and enter your address details. Our system will then automatically recognise if you are outside the EU, and the VAT will deducted from your order.

You will be able to see a revised version of your order, with the correct amount of VAT and delivery costs, before you enter any payment details. For privacy reasons, we will not store your name and address details unless you actually complete the order.

Customers from inside the EU must pay VAT at the UK rate. You can see the amount of VAT on your order at any time on the View Basket page.

*This does not include certain items (such as books), which are VAT exempt
