Here at Sheehan’s, we are so confident in the quality of our products that we offer a free 5 year extended warranty on all new instruments. This warranty covers defects in materials used or problems in the construction of the instrument.
If a product fails during the warranty period, the customer is entitled to a repair, free of charge, under the terms of this warranty. To obtain service under this warranty, a receipt (as issued at the time of purchase) must be presented.
So, from the moment you purchase, you are covered!
The Sheehan's 5 Year Warranty is NOT a "no-fault" warranty. This simply means the coverage applies only if your product malfunctions under normal operating conditions. No Pete Townsend or Kurt Cobain guitar smashing will be covered!
“Consumable” parts, components and accessories are not covered under this warranty, although this is not an all-inclusive list, examples of "consumables" are strings, lamps and light bulbs, lasers, drum heads, regular and rechargeable batteries, amplifier tubes, power adapter/transformers etc.
We pride ourselves in being honest and fair. Additionally, we think it's unlikely that anyone would be dishonest with us, but for protection as a business, we reserve the right to accept or reject any product presented to us for warranty coverage and for the same reasons stated above, we also reserve the right to modify the conditions of this warranty at our discretion.
This warranty is valid only for the purchaser, and is non-transferrable. All repairs and servicing during the warranty period must be carried out by Sheehan’s personnel, or their authorised agents. Repairs or servicing carried out by any other party will void this warranty.
As musicians ourselves, we really do understand and sympathise with the problems that arise when a piece of equipment breaks down, but we have to be realistic and state that we can’t be held responsible for lost work, lost studio time, lost wages, or the emotional strife or other ancillary issues that are created when a piece of equipment fails and/or during the time the equipment has been sent to us for repair. We will always do is our very best to get your gear back up and running as quickly as possible.
