Classical Guitar Models
Burguet's range of classical guitars are all built with a traditional body size, and all models feature quality components - ebony fingerboards, rosewood bridges, cedar or mahogany necks and gold-plated machine heads.
Traditionally classical guitars use cedar for the soundboard (top), and rosewood is used for the back and sides. Burguet guitars offer a choice of either cedar or spruce tops (spruce tends to produce a louder, brighter tone than cedar) - models with walnut, maple and koa back and sides offer a wider choice of tonal qualities and appearance.

Flamenco Models
Burguet's flamenco guitars are built to a standard body size, with quality parts on all models including ebony fingerboards, rosewood bridges, rosewood headstock overlay, cedar necks and gold-plated machine heads.
Traditionally, flamenco guitars have been made with spruce tops, and spanish cypress back and sides. This combination of woods, along with the slightly shallower sound chamber, gives a brighter tone and a faster attack than traditional classical guitars. Some models feature rosewood back and sides instead - these tend to give a deeper bass response, and a slightly slower attack - less of a purist's instrument, but certainly an interesting alternative.
