A Brief Introduction to Lowden Guitars

Anyone who has ever held a Lowden knows that they are amongst the most exceptional instruments available in the world today. We feel they particularly suit the fingerstyle player, as they have a well balanced sound from bass to treble, and a very 'full' tone even when playing single notes.

The sound and construction quality of Lowden's guitars is always superb. In this high tech age, we come to expect this from the big producers, but this consistently high standard from the smaller builders is harder to find.

Since 200X, Lowden Guitars are once again being made under the supervision of original company founder and master luthier George Lowden, and with only a limited number of these beautiful instruments now being made, the current models are sure to become the collectors items of tomorrow!

We usually have a small number of these instruments in stock (see our Acoustic Guitar Boutique).  Alternatively, if we don't have the model of your choice, or you would like a custom made guitar, please contact our acoustic guitar department for more details.
